Personal Brand Photography: Shoots for Social Media
A must. Before the terms “personal brand photography” and “creative headshots” were smattered across the web, I was shooting those very things without knowing it. Brand photography sessions are a mix of headshots and creative direction and planning for your business vibe. Basically, it’s a collection of products, portraits, and documentary photographs for you to use on your website and social media feed.
Why?
A big reason these days is having a consistent aesthetic. If your photo collection is well-planned, well-executed, and edited by the same photographer, chances are you’ll have a killer cache of photos to choose from that always look consistent and lovely online.
This was a Minneapolis session from a few years back. It isn’t documentary or product-heavy, but that’s okay, too. If you are the face of your brand, all the more reason to be front and center for your branding session. Some sessions have a variety of looks and settings, others only a couple.
