I am grateful.
I am grateful for long-time clients like this family who are literally the foundation of my photography business. In fact, the oldest of the two sisters in this shoot was a brand new baby when I first started shooting for them. Bonkers.
I’m grateful to be able to earn a living doing things that I truly enjoy. I’m grateful for the amazing photographers I have in my network, like my super sweet and talented associate shooter, Audrey. I was out of town for this session and Audrey stepped in like a photo ninja.
How does that work?
Associate shooters rock each session they cover solo and then send the raw files over my way so I can edit and pretty-ify (yep, I’m doing that) them before they’re sent out to the client. This post-production workflow helps maintain the aesthetic that makes Jennings Photo recognizable.
There’s something really fresh and fun about this arrangement that makes editing a whole new experience for me. Which is great fun because it’s easy to get into a rut when you’ve been doing this kind of thing for so many years. With associate sessions, I never know what I’m going get. But I know it’ll be good.
So, I’m grateful for the exciting growth and expansion in my photography business and look forward to what this, and subsequent years, have in store.
