Personal Brand Photography
Want a better social media and web presence for you or your business?
How do you connect with potential clients or acquire new customers? If you’re thinking social media, newsletters, or another B2C option, what percentage of the time do you try to connect on a personal level with the people you’re trying to attract?
How often to you share things about yourself compared to how often you pitch your product or service?
If you’re nearly a non-existent presence, or even a sort-of-present part of your marketing approach, this might be the right article for you.
Making a connection with your customers and clients, particularly for small businesses is an essential part of your brand. Are you telling a story or just pitching, pitching, pitching? Are you asking people to opt in to a service with you but you’re not featured regularly on your website or social feed?
Enter personal branding photography sessions.
Personal branding is about taking the time to plan things out and put the effort in ahead of time so you have amazing on-brand content whenever you need it. It’s about consistency and becoming a recognizable brand your followers and customers can depend on (and look forward to hearing from).
That’s a big part of this process: the-looking-forward-to-your-posts part. If you’re always only selling and aren’t connecting to your audience with photographs and stories about you, people who may like you, and maybe even need your service or product down the road, won’t want to hear the same story over and over. BUT, we are all interested in the human experience, and if you’re somehow in their feed, you will have their attention if what you say is interesting.
In this session, we wanted to focus on working from home and some of the moods associated with her work. The colors were gray-based and simple, and the ratio of portraits to other product or fill-shots was high.
