Filled with all kinds of musical goodies, The Terrarium recording studio in Minneapolis is a wonderful place for any music photographer. For this adventure, the lovely and talented singer & songwriter Molly Dean (also of Moon & Pollution) asked me to join her during the recording of her latests record.
Produced by Trampled by Turtles singer Dave Simonett, the record is due out later this year. It features loads of amazing local artists, including Dave Carroll (TBT), JT Bates, Erik Koskinen, Frankie Lee, Dan Zamzow (Cloud Cult), Shannon Frid-Rubin (Cloud Cult), Paul Jennings (PlayCajon), and Nicholas Gaudette.
Studios have incredible energy. Creativity and coffee fill the air, along with a fair amount of laughter. There’s endless, relaxed goofing off and moments of total, complete concentration. It’s a beautiful mixture and I enjoyed spending time is such company. Click play below. Enjoy.
