how do story sessions work?
Let's get together for an hour or so. You do what you normally do: garden, make dinner, whatever, and I'll take photos.
Story Sessions are movement, tiny details, and emotion all put together into an experience for YOU, the viewer.
Maybe you're a musician wanting to document time in the studio cutting a record, a family making waffles for breakfast, or a girl and her dog...these are stories that I promise you'll love to look back on.

What does a story session feel like to look at 10 years later?

Session FAQ
What kind of images are delivered?
You'll get a digital download of your final images to keep.
These are high-resolution, editing for aesthetic, and ready to print.
Do I get the rights to these images?
The easy answer: we share the copyright.
Meaning, you may print or share your images in most places,
as long as it's for personal use and not for profit.
As the original creator and copyright owner,
I may use your images for my own purposes, like social media.
If needed, Jennings Photo can provide you with a print release.
How does proofing work?
I'll email you a link to your proofing gallery about a week after your shoot day.
In the proofing process you'll get to choose the images you want to keep.
These images are not edited yet.
How long are they?
Story sessions are 30 and 60-minute windows (I also offer bespoke 2+ hour sessions for an afternoon at your cabin, etc), but TRUST ME, you'll get a ton of images you'll love.
Let me worry about the clock.
What's most important is that you get a big gallery to choose your favorites from. Plus, most pets, kiddos, and even grown-ups find that more than 90 minutes is enough with a camera following you around!
For extra special outings like the State Fair, an evening at your cabin, or anything else time-consuming beyond 90 minutes, packages are put together based on your needs and start at $1800.
