Living near your hometown (Excelsior, MN in my case) and working as a wedding photographer has a lot of perks. My favorite perk is meeting up with old friends and acquaintances and getting to share some really important, intimate moments with them after years apart. It’s the perfect way to reconnect, but also so rewarding to bring joy in the form of photographs to these old friends and their families. Weddings are planned out, stressed over, and ultimately an incredible day for the lucky couple and I truly enjoy being there to capture everything.
Rachael and Marc are getting hitched in September but we met up recently for some outdoor engagement photos. A little Lake Minnetonka and then one old tree, Marc’s tree in Carver Park. We had sunshine and blue skies as well as a pretty good time catching up.
