Mini sessions in Minneapolis and Los Angeles
Mini sessions are a fast, easy, and affordable way to grab a few professional photos. If you need to update your fridge or walls, love on your pets, celebrate an anniversary, order holiday cards, update your social profile, or get a new desktop wallpaper for work, mini sessions are the way to go.
What are mini sessions?
Mini sessions are 20-minute fast and quick photo sessions. They can be you and your dog, kids, partner, or just you for a quick headshot update. Or just you, because you like photos of yourself. You get the point.
Because of the affordable price, mini sessions are offered on specific days of the year at locations I choose (upcoming spots include NYC, Los Angeles, Paris, Honolulu, and Minneapolis). You arrive at the location I’ve chosen ready to shoot. Because I’ve blocked off an afternoon of sessions, plan to arrive 10 minutes early.
Minis save you money and me from driving around town like a crazy person. It also allows me to see people I haven’t connected with in a while, which is a favorite part of my work.
Should I choose a mini session or regular session?
If you’re on a tight budget, minis are a great option. But there are a few drawbacks:
- You don’t get to choose the location or visit multiple locations
- You only get 20 minutes, so if kiddos are in meltdown mode or you hoped for a change of clothes, you might not get as many great snaps as planned
- The collection is MUCH smaller than a full session
All of that said, mini sessions are still incredibly popular. I always have to add on an extra sessions each year because slots fill up faster than a trick-or-treat bag on Halloween.
